The Priority Research Programme (SPP) 2361 “On the way to the Fluvial Anthroposphere” and the Romano-Germanic Commission of the German Archaeological Institute are delighted to invite to the interdisciplinary workshop “Fish, Fishing and the Fluvial Anthroposphere” in Frankfurt on 31 March and 1 April 2025.

The workshop consists of a keynote lecture by Prof. Dr Richard Hoffmann (Toronto), one of the leading experts for pre-modern European environmental history, particularly for fish and fishing and concludes with a round table with experts on specific methods, sources and topics towards fish, fishing and the fluvial Anthroposphere.

 The keynote lecture on 31 March 18:00 will be accessible via Zoom.
